Devin Glasgow currently resides in Austin, Texas where he is a Private Lessons Instructor for the Leander and Round Rock Independent School Districts. He received his Master of Music in Flute Performance from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance with a minor in business from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. His principal teachers include Eva Amsler, Karen Large, and Nancy Schneeloch-Bingham.


Devin has been a finalist or prizewinner in multiple competitions including the Raleigh Area Flute Association Review and Contest, Appalachian Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition, Appalachian Symphony Orchestra Concerto/Aria Competition, Kappa Kappa Psi National Concerto Competition, and the Florida MTNA Young Artist Competition. 


Devin has performed with the Albany and Tallahassee Symphony Orchestras, performs on multiple woodwind instruments for the Lees-McRae Summer Theatre, and is a member of the Raines Flute Ensemble. As a teacher, he has been on faculty with the Appalachian Community Music School and Florida State University’s Summer Music Camps. Devin is a proud alumni member of Kappa Kappa Psi and holds current memberships with the National Flute Association, Florida Flute Association, and the Flute New Music Consortium.
